Coaches:

We are in the process of reworking the schedule thos morning. We will send out another email once the schedule is complete. The schedule will be down until its completed.

We are moving the 7:45 am and 9am games to Glen Oaks and Walsh College. All games should start at 10:30 am on Friday.

Rosters: All Roster management forms need to be turned in no later than Wednesday June 19th.

We will have another Zoom call for those who missed the first one @ 9pm on Tuesday

2. Team Check-In ..... Teams will check in 2 hours before your first game. Please be on time. ALL TEAMS WILL PLAY ON FRIDAY JUNE 28. Each player will recieve a PLAYERS WRISTBAND to be worn the entire weekend. Players will not be allowed to play without it. Players can only play on one team. Each team will recieve 5 coaches plus 1 team mom. Discounted tickets (2 per team) will be available for certified coaches only. Please be in uniform.

Early Check-In - We will have early check in on Thursday June 27 from 4-9pm. Must have NSID and Exposure events roster . If you play @ 7:45 am on Friday ... We highly recommend you come on Thursday. GAME TIME IS GAME TIME

3. Rosters .... PLEASE NOTE : EXPOSURE EVENT ROSTERS MUST BE FILLED OUT AS WELL .... All We need PLAYER NAME , JERSEY #, and DOB. ROSTERS ARE DUE BY JUNE15

All rosters must be submitted on NATIONAL SPORTS ID - CLICK HERE . No execptions. We are expecting over 100 plus teams, this will help us manage the check in process much more efficiently. This will also publish every teams roster ,to insure each player is in the correct age division. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE SUBMIT YOUR ROSTERS. Teams must also fill out the exposure event roster management form as well. We need the Name , DOB and Jersey #.... Age Cut-off is July 1, 2024. Please make sure you are in the correct age division

5. Tickets to Hall of Fame Tour - Please contact Pat Bearducci @ pat.bearducci@profootballhof.com or call 330-588-3644. Let them know you are with D1 East Coast Spring Championships.

6. Format: Pool play Friday and Saturday. Sunday is Bracket play , for some bracket play will Saturday as well based on the number of teams. Seeding will be based on how you finish in your pool.


7. Awards
Gold Champions receive Custom D1 Uniform , Major Trophy, Championship Rings , D1 Medals , MVP Chain , Top Lineman Banner , Automatic (Free) Bid to Nationals , Event T-Shirt

Runner-up - Trophy Only, Medals .. Qualifies for Nationals in Dallas TX

Silver Champions receive Trophy and T-shirt , Qualifies for Nationals in Dallas TX.

General Information

Welcome to the 2nd Spring National Championships@ Hall of Fame @Canton . Here is some information to make your D1 experience more enjoyable
 
 
1. Schedule:  Will drop June 16, All teams must be available to start play Friday  June 30th. 

2.  Team Check-in will be Friday @ Hall of Fame  before your first game. All players must be present .  We will cross reference the roster you submitted with the roster management form you will need to fill out when you register your team.    

We will only accept National Sports ID (Click Here) 

3.  Games: First Round of Pool play will begin Friday  , June 28th . Second Round of pool play will take place Saturday June 29.  Once pool play is over , we will begin Bracket play.  In pools of three , The top team will advance to the D1 championship , the 2nd Team in the pool will advance to the D2 or Silver Bracket championship, and the 3rd place team will advance to D3 or Bronze Bracket.  

4.  Awards :   D1 Champion will receive Championship Trophy , Individual Player Rings ,  MVP Trophy and Banner , Individual Medals and Custom D1 Uniforms.

D1 2nd Place will receive 2nd Place Trophy 

D2 Champion will receive Silver Championship Trophy , MVP Banner.

RULES

High School Rules . Clock stops on all regular football situations   

Clock will start ON THE READY WHISTLE after :
a)  Out of Bounds
b)  Incomplete passes
c) First downs
d) Penalties

Clock will start  ON THE SNAP (1st Touch)
a) Scores
b) Change of Possession
c) Time outs

SPECIAL TEAMS

PUNTING -  ONCE A TEAM CROSSES THERE SIDE OF THE 50 YD LINE  ..THEY MUST GO FOR IT.  

TOURNAMENT RULES

Game time is game time: If  team is 15 minutes late  game will be forfeited.

5U - 8 minute quarters , 3 time outs per half , Clock stops on change of possession , incomplete passes and time-outs. 2 Coaches allowed on field

- No special teams
- No Punts - Punts will be walked off 20 yds from line of scrimmage
- Extra points - Running 1pt , Throwing 2 pts
- Mercy Rule: After 20pt lead - Game will turn into running clock

MERCY RULE -NO BLITZING or LINING UP OVER CENTER.

- Kick-offs

- Kick offs Only - Punts will be walked off. Must go for 4th downs on your side of the 50 yd line. (No walk offs)

- Extra points - Running 1pt , Throwing 2 pts
- Defensive players cannot line-up over center
- Mercy Rule: After 20pt lead - Game will turn into running clock - Mercy rule no blitz

9U-14U -10 minute quarters , 3 time outs per half , Clock stops on change of possession , incomplete passes and time-outs.

- All teams will perform kick offs and punts.

Overtime - In case of overtime , Ball will be placed on the 10 yd line. Each team will have the opportunity to advance the ball and score. (EACH TEAM HAS 4 PLAYS ONLY ... Should a penalty occur , then the penalty will be marked off and the play will count as a down... Last play cannot end on a defensive penalty) , If neither team scores the ball will be placed on the 5 yard line , each team will get 4 plays to score.  One time during OT period.  There will be no ties.


Mercy Rule: After 20pt lead - Game will turn into running clock

Age Eligibility: All players must on official league roster in order to participate. League age requirements take precedent. All players must wear wrist bands issued at certification.

Weight: Weight is unlimited for this tournament.

Coach’s Conduct:

We expect coaches to behave professionally. Any verbal or personal attacks on referees or staff will not be tolerated. Coaches will be issued one warning. After the initial warning , the coach in question will be expelled from the competition and will not be allowed to coach the next game.

Coach’s Dress:

Coach’s must have on Team issued shirts or spirit wear. No t-shirts, wife beaters or flip flops allowed.

Coach’s Passes

Coaches must have on Coaches passes to be on the sideline. Head coach will be issued wrist bands at registration. Wristbands must be worn the entire weekend. All coaches must be signed in. We will only issue wristbands once. Each team will be issued 5 wristbands only. All American Coaches Hoodies -

Parents/Fans

Parents are not allowed on playing field , Any team violating this rule , will be issued a 15yd penalty at the 1st warning. 2nd warning , Head Coach will be removed from the game.
