Battle for the Peak is a competitive youth tackle football tournament held in the White Mountains of Arizona, featuring verified rosters, AIA officials, and championship games in the Round Valley Dome. Limited team spots available.

Event Dates: June 12–14, 2026
Location: Round Valley High School – Eagar, Arizona
Surface: Outdoor Turf/Grass + Indoor Dome (Championship Games)

5U, 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U
(Divisions will be finalized based on registration. Minimum teams required per division.)

Pool Play format
Top teams advance to Championship Games
Championship games played inside the Round Valley Dome
 
Roster & Eligibility Requirements
NSID Age Verification required for all players and coaches
Player headshot and documentation must be uploaded and verified through NSID
Certified roster must be completed prior to event
Rosters will be locked prior to tournament start
No player additions permitted after roster lock
All players must be present at team check-in for verification and wristband assignment
 
Game Play
Minimum of 2 AIA-certified officials per game
On-site medical coverage provided
Game length varies by division

12U & 14U: Full-length games (~90-minute slots)
Younger divisions: Modified timing
 
Gate Admission
Adults: $20 per day
Children: $10–$15 per day
Weekend passes available
Players and certified coaches admitted free

Weather Expectations
Typical mid-June conditions in the White Mountains include daytime temperatures ranging from 75–85°F with strong sun exposure and cooler mornings/evenings. Afternoon weather changes are possible. Teams should plan for hydration, shade, and changing conditions.

Middle School field utilized if necessary
Stadium and Dome lighting available for evening games

Tournament reserves the right to accept or deny any team entry
All participants must meet verification and eligibility requirements
Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated

Mandatory Coaches Meeting (Zoom)
Each team is required to have at least one representative attend a pre-tournament Zoom meeting.

Sunday game schedules will be determined based on total team registration and tournament format
Not all teams may be scheduled for Sunday play
