LINE IT UP Southern Edition Youth Football Tournament It’s time to LINE IT UP! Top youth programs hit Belleville, Illinois for an intense preseason battle where only the toughest rise. Ages 6U–13U, two games guaranteed, and NYFC National Championship bids to Millbrook, Alabama (Dec 11–14) on the line. Bring your squad, bring your energy, and come prove it on the field!

Welcome to the LINE IT UP Southern Edition!
We look forward to hosting your organization for an exciting weekend of competitive youth football. Preseason work is always good work—and Belleville, Illinois is the perfect place for fun and fierce competition.

Ticket information will be released with the official schedule. Weekend passes will be available.

Check-in: 2 hours prior to your first scheduled game
All players must be present for certification
Roster forms will be emailed after team registration
All players must be registered in Sports Cert to participate — NO EXCEPTIONS
Wristbands will be issued at certification and must be worn all weekend

❌ No replacements or re-issues
No players may be added after the first game
Certification Location: On-site, 2 hours before first game
 
👀 Spectator Guidelines
Strictly Enforced — Violators Will Be Removed by Local Police

🚫 No alcoholic beverages
🚫 No individual coolers (all coolers subject to search)
🚫 No marijuana smoke
🚫 No gambling
🚫 No weapons or fighting

Games: 2 games guaranteed
Awards: 1st & 2nd Place Awards in all brackets
Rules: High School rules apply unless noted
Game Time is Game Time:

Teams 15 minutes late = FORFEIT (No exceptions)

8-minute quarters | 2 timeouts per half
Coaches allowed on field
No special teams (punts walked off)
Extra Points: Run = 1 | Pass = 2
No defensive alignment over the center
Mercy Rule: 20+ point lead → running clock
No blitzing once mercy rule applies
No walk-off punts inside your own 50-yard line

No coaches on field
Kickoffs only; punts walked off
Extra Points: Run = 1 | Pass = 2

Ball starts on the 20-yard line
Each team receives one possession
If still tied:

Ball placed on 10-yard line | 4 plays to score
If still tied:

Ball placed on 10-yard line
Penetration rule determines winner
 
👕 Uniforms
Home Team: Light jerseys
Visiting Team: Dark jerseys
 
🎓 Coaches Conduct
Professional conduct is expected at all times.

Any verbal or personal attacks on referees or staff will not be tolerated
1st offense: Warning
2nd offense: Ejection + suspension for next game
Coaches must wear team-issued shirts or spirit wear

🚫 No t-shirts, tank tops, or flip-flops
🎟 Each team will receive 6 sideline wristbands only

Issued once at registration
Must be worn all weekend
 
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents & Fans
Parents are NOT allowed on the playing field
Zero tolerance policy
Penalties:

1st offense → 15-yard penalty
2nd offense → Team forfeits the game
