Dear Parents, Players, and Family Members,

We want to take a moment to remind everyone of a very important league policy. WVYFC is committed to providing a safe, positive, and fun environment for all of our players. That means we must all show respect toward our referees, coaches, and one another at all times.

Effective immediately:

No parent, player, or family member may confront, argue with, or approach a referee during or after any game.
These referees are here doing WVYFC a favor by volunteering or dedicating their time to officiate our games.
If anyone approaches a referee from today through the end of the season, that person will be permanently banned from WVYFC. This includes being prohibited from attending future games or practices.
Only the head coach for each team is authorized to speak with referees during or immediately after a game.
If you have questions or concerns about officiating, please contact your association president. They will be happy to address your concerns appropriately.
We are all here for one reason to let the kids play and have fun. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to go after or confront a referee at any point. Let’s set a good example for our players by keeping our focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect.

Few reminders for game day. .

All Game Field Reminders:

-Spectators are not allowed on the turf fields, in Highschool Stadiums all spectators are to stay in the stands. Only athletes and BADGED representatives are allowed on the field

-4J and Hamlin do not allow us to have canopy or chairs on track surfaces.
-Please be kind and courteous to all volunteers, opposing team members and officials

-Remember to pick up after yourselves after games. We have had alot of trash and forgotten items left in the stands and on the fields already. This puts us in jeopardy of losing game fields.

-No photographers that havent been approved by WVYFC and Badged are not alowed on the field.

-Respect the boardmembers that are running the fields.

-Fans are held up with the same code of conduct as players and coaches.


Reminders for teams playing in Roseburg:

No parking in the quad, the high school coaching staff are the only allowed vehicles.

No food on the turf, if your team needs a half time snack you’ll have to leave the field to consume it.

No pets are allowed at the stadium. ONLY service animals

Please leave the field immediately after your game so we stay on schedule. Team meeting can take place under/around the score board if you don’t want parents involved or outside the fence. End zones and sidelines are not an option.

If any changes do occur, we will promptly notify the teams that are affected so you have the most up-to-date information.
